Busy kitchen week
Aside from prepping most all of the meals this week. I baked homemade sour dough pita, sour dough ciabatta, multigrain SD sandwich bread. Also developed a SD pancake and waffle batter that turned out excellent. Finally WRT baking, I adapted a spice cake recipe to use sour dough instead of regular white flour. It as well turned out excellent. We rarely eat regular white bread. Sour dough is so much healthier, I would argue tastier as well, that there is no compelling reason to eat the other. Though we do eat my wife’s excellent yeast rolls during the end of year holiday season. My last extra for this week was for our dachshund. I made a big batch of bone broth which has lots of health benefits plus she loves it poured over her dry food. In case you missed my drift. I WAS A BAKING FOOL THIS WEEK!😜
