Namibia considers taking stakes in mining and petroleum companies This is a region of the world that I am watching with some interest. It has many issues similar to South America. This would be a mistake IMO. The Namibian government should focus on technology transfer and human capital development. There are better, more efficient ways of doing that than creating jobs for administrators and running the risk of discouraging FDI. |
