Twenty-five LNG vessels with a combined capacity of 93 Bcf left the US between May 18 and May 24, the EIA said, citing shipping data from Bloomberg Finance LP. A week earlier, 24 LNG vessels, with a total capacity of 90 Bcf, left the country.
In the latest week, eight LNG vessels departed from Cheniere Energy Inc.'s Sabine Pass export terminal in Louisiana; five left from the Freeport LNG Development LP terminal in Texas; four came from Cheniere's Corpus Christi facility in Texas; three came from Venture Global LNG's Calcasieu Pass terminal in Louisiana; two each came from Sempra's Cameron facility, also in Louisiana, and Dominion Energy Inc.'s Cove Point terminal in Maryland; and one came from the Kinder Morgan Inc.-operated Elba Island LNG export terminal in Georgia.
