Over my trading lifetime I have seen many instances of OPEC shock and awe.
This was not one of them. Waiting 7 months for the 2024 cuts does not play
out well in this, neither does Saudi's 1-month cut that might or might not
be repeatable (depending on Saudi Arabia's mood).

I anticipate energy (oil included) will turn bullish once the world's
central banks are done with wringing out demand, but they are not done
yet.

The world's industrial production of consumer goods is in decline. Demand
is being brought down to meet that. But global declining consumer demand
has not yet caught up to declining global consumer-goods supply.
