May be self-inflicted wounds, would hardly be the first time in midstream or energy patch, but fair enough. In terms of $3B to $7B (latter is accurate, former I'll take your word), but it's now, what, 7- or 10 years in the making, time and inflation doing their thing.
ROI may indeed take long time to begin spinning off cash flow+. On the other hand, if/when once MVP is completed, the asset, as one of the few NG pipelines in NE/MidAtl, is irreplaceable and has undeniable value.
