To add on, "revenue" is top-line. Without understanding the COGS (Cost of goods sold), we can't infer much from this announcement. That is why deals with true upfront money are what will be impactful in stopping dilution. When shareholders can be sure that has stopped, the share price will start its big move.
Most likely there won't be 1/4 of the $1 million in 1Q2024.
Maybe we will get lucky and see the breakdown of how the other deals that were supposed to bring in revenue in 2023 actually performed in the next filing.
Upfront revenue is where the focus should be on any truly large deal to move beyond dilution. All the rest is noise and not signal, as they say. Putting out these little PR's isn't moving the needle up.
