I am not from Toronto however I could not get use to the traffic as a passenger..ie speed, the weaving in and out and the middle finger movement as cars raced by.
Also cyclists speeding by between vehicles and at one point I saw a person speed down a hill on one of those motorized scooters. Its a wonder he was not hit....
All of this and one has to keep ones "eye on the road"
Its unfortunate this young lad was killed on the bike however the driver was charged due to what sounded like an improper turn. All of this and a rule that states no right/lefthand turns allowed between 4 and 6pm thereabout. WOW. Coming from other cities it does not seem what time it is. Who has the time to read all these signs while this speeding etc is going on....
Its terrible what happened however I have a tendency to feel a bit sorry for the 60 year old driver. Gosh knows what he is facing ahead.
