Re: CBO deficit estimate is $3.7 TThere was no talk off real budget surpluses during the Clinton administration. I lived thru it. Only the corrupt fiscal historians since then have invented it. When Clinton moved so many department deficits to 'off budget accounting' like medicare, the private sector accounts said they could too. Thus Leman Bros brokerage accelerated off budget accounting. It worked for awhile. But eventually the debt was recognized. So too will the same thing happen to the government. tick tick us gold bugs like real accounting.
