Bought a Prindle cat @ the Hoston boat show fully race equipped Jan 78. It arrived in early spring, decided a needed a new truck (king cab) to go with the boat. So my 7tr old step son and head down to Texas city dike to break it in: Place was normally packed but the winds were pretty strong. Only one other person there a guy with his Hobie, we talked and decided to take his boat out to see if it was too rough or not. Told son be back in a few minutes stay off the boat until I'm back. We go out and decide in short order its to rough & turn around to head back. He sees it first, says your boy is playing on the boat. Yes it happened the boat got some wind and over it went all I could think was why didn't I park the truck farther away. Was impressed with the damage that mast did to the cab. The truck gave as good as it. got, mast was junk and some damage to the boat. Never even had been in the water. My son and I have never been able to live that story down.
