GAVI or Gates won't want to be known as the non-profit organization or philanthropist to bankrupt a vaccine maker.  Especially one that is willing to license out to SII to make very cheap vaccines.  They realize that without competition, then MRNA and Pfizer will raise the price from $30 to $130 for COVID...and even higher.  Also, Novavax holds the cards for their Malaria vaccine since it only work with the Matrix-M adjuvant.

 

That's my thinking, but who knows...all these billionaires like to talk and look good in front of the TV.  But will they really eat hundreds of millions of dollars...not so sure.  Maybe MRNA and Pfizer paid the powers to sink Novavax, I'm sure that has happened...but how far can they reach...
