you do not need Pharma experience to answer this question. Your question is completely biased and blames the FDA for all of Novavax's problems. Is it the FDA's fault that Novavax filed for EUA on their primary 2372 covid vaccine 14 months later than Pfizer? Is it the FDA's fault that Novavax filed their submission on the xbb1.5 booster over 2 months later than Pfizer and Moderna? If the FDA wanted to fuck over Novavax, they could have approved Pfizer's xbb1.5 booster in July or August. Did Pfizer receive special consideration by having to wait almost 3 months from submission to approval? Yet you think Novavax is getting screwed because the FDA has not approved their booster in the 3.5 weeks since Novavax filed their submission. 

 

I know, I know, Novavax should be treated with kid's gloves because their vaccine is so superior to the "experimental" mrna vaccines. Laughable. If Nuvaxovid is so superior, why hasn't Novavax run any comparative studies that shows this. Why haven't I heard Filip or any other Novavax executive ever make a point or even hint that their vaccine is superior. Listening to Filip give a presentation to the FDA or any other regulatory body, he comes across as glad that their vaccine is in the same ballpark as Pfizer and Moderna. 

 

I do not agree that Pfizer's and Moderna's covid vaccines are shit. They saved an untold number of lives. How many more people would have died waiting for Novavax to get their shit together during '21 if an mrna vaccine wasnt developed. Show me a legitimate study, not from some fringe website, that shows safety concerns that warrant the FDA pulling mrna vaccines off the market.
