Re: BlueBird Bio, Inc., Former High-Flyer, has Crashed to Earth
that article is very comprehensive and an excellent primer for the risks in developmental biotech
following paraphrases the introduction:
"BLUE has entered its death spiral. Access to capital becomes increasingly dilutive. It's core technology has been eclipsed by newer, safer, and more reliable treatment pathways. The CEO is now compelled to parrot a less and less credible portrayal. In our view, BLUE's time for achieving escape velocity is past, and the forces of gravity pulling it toward a liquidation or dissolution scenario can no longer be escaped"
and FWIW, BLUE's current SP is $3.63, with a ~$400M Market Cap... and surely any BLUE true longs will dismiss that article as FUD
