At The Movies
In an effort to try to keep the COP Board active, so that my dear friend
Spas can sleep better at night, I will post about my recent movie experiences.
I was dragged into "80's For Brady" the other day thinking that it was a
Football movie, but, as it turned out, it was strictly a Chick Flick that
featured one of John Kerry's favorite co-Vietnam War Protesters. But hell,
she was great as Cat Ballou a couple of years back!
In an effort to recover from that experience. we went the next day to see
"A Man Called Otto". I don't recall Tom Hanks ever making a bad movie.
This one was excellent and included his son playing a younger Hanks in the
flashback parts. The movie was near and dear to my heart as he played a
retired engineer with a personality very much like my own with one notable
exception . . . I am not currently in possession of suicidal tendencies.
The "trailers" for both movies were the same and were just TOTAL GARBAGE
coming out of Hollywood these days.
