I read an article this morning on the CNBC website. In it the Norwegian
Sovreign Wealth Fund which owns trillions of dollars, which it has earned
as the result of royalties from oil production over the past 44 years, is
saying that they will kick out oil companies that do not walk, talk, and act
green enough. It doesn't say how they plan to go about it but I would
imagine the cleanest way to go about it would be to author a shareholder
proposal to walk, talk and act green. In the late 80's the Norwegian
Petroleum Directorate hosted a meeting between the Ministry of Finance and
us local Phillips' types to talk about environmental issues. It might be
worthwhile to revisit this in another 40 years or so.

PS. I'm kind of out of the loop now, but a young man that I hired to work
for a lady, who worked for a guy, who worked for a guy who worked for me is
now running COP Europe/Africa and is capable of handling the matter.
