Ukraine War Analysis
I have been deeply involved in watching and analyzing the Ukrainian War, old habit from my days as a professional soldier. It can be lonely thinking that the Ukrainians have the Russians where they want them as just about every "expert" you see on TV says its a stalemate, it is not strategically, albeit tactically. Tactics are the means to carry out strategy and those who have no formal military training more often than not see only the tactics and not how they fit into the strategy. The below link is to an interview, Polish TV, where the person being interviewed, around the 11 minute mark, lays out exactly what I have been saying on other boards about Ukrainian strategy, in effect the Russians have left the underbelly of their forces open to attack via a Ukrainian crossing of the Dnieper River. I would just add that in addition to the importance of the arrival of the F-16s in the next couple of months, I would expect to see the Abrams tanks currently in reserve, rumbling over those pontoon bridges.
