Re: Here's a question... // cnrswinger "Good thought process, as usual. But per my understanding the study does not involve OSU." You apparently understand wrong.
Per Ming The Merciless (06-16-2022): “Pressure Bioscience announces that Ohio State University has published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal an article highlighting production of protein-enriched milk containing a novel emulsified plant-protein suspension using the Ultra Shear Technology (UST). “
PR, Accesswire, June 14, 2022: “Recent Study Published by The Ohio State University Illuminates Unique Capabilities of PBI's UST Platform for Optimal Formulation and Processing of New and Existing Plant Protein-based Beverages” SOUTH EASTON, MA / ACCESSWIRE , June 14, 2022: “Pressure BioSciences, Inc. (OTCQB:PBIO) ("PBI" or the "Company"), a leader in the development and sale of broadly enabling, pressure-based instruments, consumables, and process development services to the worldwide food and beverage, biotherapeutics, and personal wellness industries, among others, today announced a pivotal peer-reviewed scientific publication highlighting the use of PBI's patented Ultra Shear TechnologyT ("USTT") platform in the production of protein-enriched milk containing a novel emulsified plant-protein suspension. J.J. Janahar, et al., from The Ohio State University ("Ohio State") College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences ("CFAES") in a study published in the high impact journal Food Hydrocolloids, Volume 131..... “
ALSO: Per Time To Collect (03-03-2022): 'Ohio State is “in partnership with PBIO” that’s something they don’t normally normally do or I believe have ever done with the technology company they have featured. They will get some kind of small cut if PBIO commercializes with some of their large companies introduced in the Ohio state food and drink consortium.'
More to think about:
PBIO Press Release, June 04, 2020: “$2.4 Million in Orders Received for 12 BaroShear K45 Systems to Be Built in Initial Manufacturing Run.” From the PBIO website on the BaroShear K45: “The BaroShear K45 has a maximum throughput capacity of approximately 1L per hour.” Note: The BaroShear K45 is a bench-top ultra-shear system that has a maximum throughput of 1 LITER per hour, and costs around $200K each. What are they going to want to charge for a production level system? No friggin' wonder they want to just receive royalties (marketing verbiage for “rent”) instead of selling systems outright---the cost is way too high to attract many, if any, customers. Time for some critical thinking, people. |
