I just voted yes after the proxy telemarketer chased me down.
Isn't DMLP on the depletion treadmill, which means they need more flexibility for acquisitions than the current policy allows, in what seems to be now a very competitive space?
As for exec compensation - I hate it, as very few managers have any actual skin in the game. But all the compensation consultants have blown up this executive pay ballon, and I can't envision any way it deflates, short of a plebian pitchfork parade through the streets of Dallas, Houston and San Antonio, which doesn't seem very likely.
Is this the same eyewash as the MMP advisory vote on exec comp, or is this DMLP question for real?
